Season’s End

We woke up to three inches of snow this morning.  That’s not really all that unusual for this time of year in Vermont, but it can be hard to take when the temperatures were more like summer just a day or two prior.  Last year we even had snow on Memorial Day.  Rather than whine about it, I figured it was time to get out and make the best of the situation.  This may be the last time I’m able to get out on the snow this winter/spring.

This past winter has been pretty good for biking.  It actually seems a little odd to say that, but it really was a good winter.  I’m a little bit reluctant to see winter end along with the traditional fat bike season.   Below are several photos I took while biking out on the trails.  Living here, I often take the beautiful scenery and excellent terrain for granted. Vermont is a pretty awesome place to bike in any season.
