Well, I was on TV, just barely. Back on National Trails day, June 1, my daughter and I decided to pitch in and help with some trail maintenance at Kingdom Trails. We worked on creating a new section of trail to bypass an overly worn portion of Leatherwood. While it was fun, it is also a lot of physical work. It gave me a little more appreciation for all the work that goes into maintaining the trails up here.
After we completed the bypass, we ate lunch and then met for a group ride on Darling Hill. While we were working on the trail, as well as during our ride, there was a camera crew tagging along. They put together a nice little report on Kingdom Trails, Burke and the area in general. The video segment can be viewed here at themountainreport.tv.
