Last week, I received a package in the mail. Eventually, after opening it up and peeling away layer upon layer of bubble wrap, I realized what it was. Since EFTA didn’t hold their 2012 awards banquet this winter, they decided to mail the awards out to us for the New England Championship Series. It’s a little bit on the late side now that we’re well into the 2013 point series but a little recognition is always appreciated. I came in second place overall for the Single-speed Open Men’s class. Pete MacLeod beat me out by only 118 points. I was followed by Taylor Clark in 3rd and Kevin Orlowski in 4th. Hopefully, EFTA will have the banquet next year as there’s a little more loot and a lot more fun to be had.
Emma, likewise, got second overall in the point series for her class, Junior Novice Women. She didn’t get a mug since she didn’t have an annual license. That was a bit of a bummer so I thought I’d give her a little recognition here. She did make the effort throughout the season. All of the results can be viewed in the 2012 results PDF here.
